Sadly, Snert, my Hearing Dog, died March 9, 2009. There was no warning but he went out to chase a cat out of our yard and when he didn’t come back in, my husband searched and found him behind our shed. He was still warm. The vet said he went very fast and could not have suffered.
He was 13 1/2 and a wonderful long-haired dachshund.
It will miss him every day and hope I see him when I get to Heaven.
